Yarn Safety
Our yarns include fibres such as Merino wool, Blue Faced Leicester wool (BFL), Alpaca, Camel, Mohair, Yak and Silk or blends thereof. Some yarns also contain synthetic fibres such as Stellina and Nylon in the blends.
Our yarn is sourced and produced ethically and adheres to the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, which means that the wool meets international safety standards.
Wool is naturally fire resistant—all of our yarns are either entirely (100%) wool and will have natural fire resistance, especially in its raw state, or predominantly (75%) wool blended with other fibres, which may be less resistant. It is recommended you keep yarn away from naked flames.
Dye Safety
All dyes used follow strict safety regulations and conform to industry guidelines.
On the rare occasion that mild bleeding occurs when rinsing your finished item then wash hands with soap and clean water. In the rare event of a skin reaction occurring, treat as Allergic Contact Dermatitis.
