Our ready to ship items will be dispatched within three working days, unless they are ordered alongside dyed to order items, in which case they'll ship within three weeks as is standard for all our dyed to order yarns. This does not include advent calendars which will not ship until mid October and should be ordered separately. All orders will receive a dispatch notice once they are posted.
At HennyPennyMakes, we use Royal Mail to send all our parcels within the UK and internationally - from experience, we've found they have the best service and value for money. At the checkout, you can choose between Standard delivery or upgrade to Tracked and Signed For. If you choose Standard delivery, your parcel won't need a signature but also won't have any protection if it goes missing. If you wish your parcel to be covered in case of loss, please choose the Tracked and Signed For option otherwise I won't accept responsibility for lost packages.
Royal Mail's policy states that parcels are not considered missing until 15 working days (3 weeks) have passed for UK parcels and 21 working days (4 weeks) for international parcels - please wait until this period has passed before contacting me.
If you are ordering from outside of the UK, please be aware that buyers are responsible for any import taxes and customs that may be due and we are also not responsible for any delays due to customs.
We are happy to accept returns of ready to ship items - please contact us within 14 days of delivery and ship items back to us within 30 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item isn't returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. I don't accept cancellations but please contact me if you have a problem with your order. Due to the nature of dyed to order and custom orders, I am unable to accept returns for these.
As of 25th May 2018, all businesses operating within the EU must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), giving customers more control, rights and knowledge about their personal information, how it is stored and how it is used.
When you buy from HennyPennyMakes, the personal information collected is used purely for completing that transaction, including processing, communicating with you and sending your order. All details are kept in a secure, password protected format and accessed through password protected electronics (mobile phone, computer, tablet etc). Paperwork is kept to a minimum and is kept in a secure place. In order to also comply with HMRC's tax regulations in the United Kingdom, I will store your order details for 6 years.
When buying from or contacting HennyPennyMakes, you will give me some or all of the following personal details: your name, postal address, email address, a username if you use social media to contact me and your phone number. I will not disclose any of your personal information without your permission unless I am required to do so by law.

HENNY'S EXTRA PENNIES (REWARDS)
I like to try and give back to my customers whenever possible and so I have set up a rewards system which is run by Smile.io
The rewards are simple - for every £1 spent through the store, you earn 10 points. Once you have earned enough points (for example 500 points) you can exchange them for a discount code which you can then use in the store (at the checkout - minimum spend applies). To access your points, you need to set up a member's account on the website and then click on the rewards symbol on the lower left of the screen. It should be straightforward but if you have any problems, please contact me.
